Field Engineer - LTE Network Installations

As a Field Engineer, you'll play a vital role in various activities including installation, commissioning, integration, troubleshooting, hardware reconfiguration, antenna optimisation, site audits, testing, and acceptance etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively troubleshoot complex technical issues in the field.
• Lead and assist third-party contractors in installing LTE Networks in a RAIL environment.
• Ensure network performance meets SLA/OLA standards.
• Conduct site testing, and acceptance, and assist in network deployments.
• Undertake special assignments to resolve network operation issues.
• Lead quality audits on multi-vendor sites.
• Troubleshoot and optimise antenna work, including investigating transmission and power faults.
• Support RF (Radio Frequency) optimization work.

 
Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering.
• OH&S (Occupational Health and Safety) training and certification.
• Specific product training on telecommunications installations.

 
Work Experience & Certs:

• 3+ years of experience in 3G or 4G mobile network rollouts and deployments.
• Technology and Product Knowledge (3G/4G RAN, Flexi BTS)
• Proficient in site and delivery processes.
• Strong managerial skills for subcontractor oversight.
• Excellent skills in radio site installation, technology knowledge, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) testing, IP (Internet Protocol) skills, business understanding, and a positive, learning mindset.
• Certified in Working at Heights, holds a White Card and First Aid certification.
• Maintains a full, clean Australian driving license.
• Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Visa holder ONLY.
